The only reason I locked it is out of habit. I have my bag in display and i lock it whenever I go put gas no matter what neighborhood I’m in. I genuinely didn’t know NJ is a “no pump” state and I thought the guy was going to fuck with me because he wasn’t even wearing anything remotely identifying him as an attendant.

Ok for out of habit and not knowing that fact, only 2 states in the US are like that. I also felt pretty shady about that guy too, i’ve filled up at nj stations before, he shouldve wear a uniform of the company.
