I would recommend on warmer seasons doe. It was cold and windy, 40 F but winds made it feel like its 28 F or something. I went by train, had to make stop at Salisbury, where they have a special double decker bus that tours you to stonehedge, it was quite a drive. But views on the way there is pretty much how the country side of England was shown on Top Gear. I would go there by car doe if I were to do it again.wap wrote:MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2018 6:12 am

I've been to the UK 5 times and still never visited Stonehenge.

Also on another note, lot of old people came/come there for a peaceful protest so they can have a free admission solely for elders and retiree’s. One of the ladies came to the bus and said “they get bored and then leave”
Also updated the pics

@wap there's Samos!
You told me about yesterday about hydra on snap lol. I believe Anthony bourdain made an episode of one of the islands, called Kinaliada. Im subscribed to this one longboarder youtuber in turkey, he made a vid of that island. That’s the island i grew up atwap wrote: ↑Wed Jul 11, 2018 2:53 pm
5/7 pics, dude.
And I've been trying to respond to your last snap but Snapfap has been crashing lately. Neat looking island, doe.
Coincidentally, yesterday my wife found a TV series, not sure what channel, called Islands Without Cars and she DVR'd the episode about Hydra. I'll keep an eye out if they do an episode on your Turkish island and let you know.
I haz more and tapatalk wants me to join VIP, so more is at my disposal, including a museum in DC.
Actually you're right, I did pass the town on the way back to NYC. I'd probably make a stop there for the books if I have a reason to road trip to montreal, quebec the land of maple syrup and poutine.CaleDeRoo wrote:Buffalo has tons of great food, but it looks like you went for Niagra falls which isn't quite downtown Buffalo so it's a bit more difficult to find many places there.
That's the wrong side of the state to get to Queeebeck though. A stop in the Thousand Islands or Adirondacks would probably be a better choice if you're heading that way.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 6:05 pmActually you're right, I did pass the town on the way back to NYC.
