Mom seems to be holding it together pretty well. She’s gone in for a CT scan. She has an MRI today at 2:00, and then needs one more appointment for something else and some blood work. Then meets with her oncologist to go over everything next Friday. Trying to pull that last appointment in sooner so she can get results from her oncologist sooner. One of my sisters has friends at Kaiser so she was able to get the CT scan and MRI moved up, hoping she’ll be able to do the same with the blood work and whatever else is part of that last appointment.

Thinking good thoughts. Cancer sucks.
I second that.

Sad!

We're getting some now, too. But it's only supposed to be 1-3 inches. :jalepenis: :disappoint:

Sadly, it's probably not gonna be enough to go have fun in the truck after I get off work; not sure it's gonna stick to the roads/parking lots yet

Thanks guys. Sisters friend was able to get a radiologist to look at the CT scan, and he unofficially told her that from what he can see, the mass is localized and hasn’t spread to her lungs or kidneys. Those are the two places he was most concerned about and checked the most thoroughly since they’re the most common areas for this type of cancer to spread to.
The MRI picks up different tissues and stuff so we’ll need that for a more complete view, but it’s nice to hear that there’s some hope for good news.
