I love love love high proof stuff. If it melts your face a little water won't hurt it at all.
I normally throw a few cubes in if I have a bourbon.
I like whiskey stones or large ice balls.

Bought a case of wine from our go to liquor guy, and he threw in a bottle of Noble Oak Bourbon because I mentioned that I wanted to try different Bourbons. Sipping it now, really like it.

Back in June in Vegas I had a double pour of Michter's 20, then a single pour, and lastly a double of Glenfiddich 30.
The Michter's was
un-fucking-believable and I NEED to find a bottle for something reasonable, not $3k for a bottle. It was so tasty, but mellow for a 114+ proof bourbon. I wish I would have seen it at release when it was around $700 a bottle. Drinking this stuff can easily sour you on cheaper stuff if you're not careful, but fear not, I still love a pour of Buffalo Trace.
This was at "Cut" by Wolfgang Puck at the Palazzo. Great service and meat. We "just" got Prime meat, but they sell Japanese A5 Wagyu as well.
