It really is with those internal bypass shocks. I imagine the TuRD Bro rides a lot better on road than the Sport or whatever level down.

Yep, I’m looking for a trim, a color and a transmission. Fairly difficult to find. But it’ll happen. Just needs a bit more time. I would be shocked if I can’t find one by the end of the month

Yep, I mentioned several times already that the TRD pro is not something I want for off roading, over the other trims. The trd off road does off roading exactly The same. the pro has almost no Upcharge over the off road when it comes to price, when equally equipped. ($1000) . The shocks cost $3500 plus labor, and the pro is rare and exclusive

I think the transmission is a better trade off than trim (and thus suspension). When you're cruising on the highway, the transmission doesn't matter, but suspension does. Auto is better off-road even if it sucks, and while it may not be great around town, I highly doubt you'll want to kill yourself because of it.

It's a :truk: :manuel: is only marginally more fun.

I loved my :manuel: K1500, but that was a completely different truck. Modern trucks work great with autos because they're the most ZFG, which is the point of this truck.

This is pushing the price delta between the off road and the pro to $11,000 which is no longer easily ignored.
My main issue is I can get the shocks at my local dealer for $2600. But then you have the stereo $1000, and lights $1000. Hmm but I would do exactly 0 messing around

The TuRD Bro should hold that value :doe:

Also, don't discount the moran OEM engineers. I'm not sure you can just slap the :fancy: shocks on a lower level truck and have it ride the same. There's a lot that usually goes into suspension tuning.

The fronts are a unit. Springs and shocks in one. The rears are just shocks, question is around Leafsprings. Some say they are the same others say they are different.

So I already reached out to the :dillerman: last night (local) to see if they are at sticker, website said they were. Waiting on the “market adjustment” reply.

FYI I contacted about 12 dealers in 4 states so far. When looking at the :manuel:
9 were “reserved” the other 3 had markup ranging from $3000-5000
