The shimmy between 18 and 19 was the most noticeable on the Yamahas and Suzukis, the Ducs, KTMs, Aprillas didn't seem to be impacted as much, as least, from the spectator perspective.

They also had a hell of a flood a few years back the weekend after a torrential downpour on F1 weekend. I would not be surprised if that had a negative impact.
Trust me, its the 3-4 tons of downforce thats doing most of that dammage not the heravy cars. Hass, a kinda mid pack team....is pulling 8g's in places. EIGHT!

I'm guessing it's both. Aint no F1 cars running around Putnam and the bumps into t2 (and pretty much all corners when in the "car" line) were serious.

I mean, its practically your run of the mill VW 2.0t.
The 2.0-liter internal combustion four-cylinder engine was also massaged for higher performance, with the tweaks netting an additional 220 horsepower on top of the stock 500 for a total of 720 horsepower.

I didn't try too hard to hide from spoilers since I won't get to the race until at least Wednesday anyway but it looks like it was an exciting one.

Interesting MotoGP race. Moar controversy and bad dancing atop a motorcycle doing 100ish mph across the finish line,

I haven't read much of the aftermath, but it looked like a racing incident. Hard to pick out who was closest to screwing up the most. It sucks that it has a big impact on the championship, but the season is still young.

Racing incident for sure. Pedrosa could’ve exercised a bit more patience. Jorge ran a soft front to get on tv and turned into a road block. Other than that, I’m not sure what anyone could’ve done differently.

ESPN’s rebroadcast of Sky Sports F1’s UK coverage is more than fine. It’s also commercial free for the balance of the season so I’d just DVR it if it’s not watchable live.

Surely you know someone that does and can get a login.

I might consider F1 TV next year, we'll see how it rolls out. Paying for MotoGP this year, watching F1 via ESPN or other means.
