I like the subtle broness. It is a Bentley after all.

Jeep JL track bar weld breaks. Many owners report horrific welds underneath their vehicles.

Porosity, lack of fusion, splatter, and what looks to be moving too quickly with the electrode.... poorly set up welding machine and a welding surface not cleaned will cause this type of weld defect. This weld is seriously compromised and needs to be redone. Major safety issue.

I thought they had a TSB to address that.... Only very very early models.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Wed Jul 18, 2018 4:44 pm Jeep JL track bar weld breaks. Many owners report horrific welds underneath their vehicles.

Yea, this seems like something that would come from early manufacturing runs.

Yeah, this was kind of a small incident from what I saw.
I checked mine and they look nothing like that, they aren't the best welds I've seen my friend that worked at NASA do, but they aren't bad by any measure... at least not like the ones in the pics.

If you want Nasa welds on a Jeep you'd better be ready to spend 55 million a piece not 55k.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Wed Jul 18, 2018 5:58 pm Yeah, this was kind of a small incident from what I saw.

25k for a new JL with a hardtop. I wonder if it truly doesn't have AC.

Basic A/C is standard. I believe it just has a hot/cold dial and a fan speed control.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 27, 2018 2:31 pm https://www.southcountychryslerdodgejee ... d66b44.htm

Holy shit, it doesn't have A/C! (not listed on the monroney, which is a legal document BTW).
Whoever ordered that is going to get some shit. No wonder it's so cheap.
