:fuckyeah: Glad you're (finally) happy with your fleet situ. And those negatives don't really sound all that...negative.

I don't have the 33 speaker bowers. I have the mid level "poverty " H&K with 18 speakers with 655 watts.

It uses your internal GPS for the suggestions.
I don’t even know what the specs are on my Harmon. :lolol:

My oxcart transmission means no digital key for me. :ohwell:
The donkey dick trans requires a physical key in the taco. So I know the feels

2.7 mi/kWh is really good. I'm surprised it's that efficient for how big it is.

Is this the xDrive50? M60?

The trim levels on these are beyond dumb.

I did turn off the whole proximity entry thing. I forget what they call it but when the car automatically locks and unlocks for you when you walk up to it. Prefer using the handle to unlock and pressing the sensor on the door.

I hate the lock and UNLOCK but lock while walking away is super neat. The lock and unlock was going nuts while I was washing the car... super annoying. Or just in general as it gets triggered in the garage while I'm in the living room

The trim levels are simple 50 and 60... essentially 500 or 600hp. On my R/T to work yesterday which was 88 miles I got 3.2WH. But it had traffic which is actually beneficial to an EV. And it's not too shabby for a 5600lb behemoth.

I think it's :neat: outside of the house but yeah, it would constantly get triggered to lock/unlock at home with the car in the garage.

I'm probably going to buy one of those faraday boxes to keep my keys in.

Ya know. That’s a solid car at a very good price. I’d love to own one of these.

Basically $10k off, but you lose any chance of a federal EV credit. Needs another $4-5k off to move IMO

12k off. But yea... :yikes:

IMO it competes really well with a Prius.

It's way better than a Prius until you need to refuel, take a dump and get a bag of Cheetos and a Mountain Dew Code Red in Pahrump on your way to Ely

This is def not a road tripper but it has a very usable 200 mile range and gets 3.7 miles per kw which is incredibly efficient

Wow. All these BMW EVs get really impressive efficiency.

Then again, I don't know your driving situation. You're in the bay area right? It's probably perfect weather and traffic for the most part?

As a commuter or daily car it’s pretty perfect. Especially if you have a second, gas powered vehicle for longer trips. Like it’s perfect for me aside from being a bit small. But Julian has no legs so 🤷‍♂️ maybe it wouldn’t be so bad.

I can’t afford this tho. 10 grand is my ideal range.

I “owned” 5 different evs and I also rented the I3 to see if I could buy it … it was 4.1miles per kw on bicycle tires. Teslas were 3.5 for the model s and 2.7 for the model x

I’d say about 30% traffic. I also live on a 1000 ft “hill” so going to a grocery store is going up and down this… it really helps with EVs… my mini would get 20mpgs around town the IX would get 3.0-3.1 freeway is 2.5-2.7 depending on speed.

Used Bolts with the warranty replaced batteries are the deal of the century if you're looking for just a local commuter.

Sounds like all these BMWs are just really efficient. I'm impressed. I'd be curious to see what they're doing differently design wise from something like Hyundai/Kia E-GMP platform. Those are really efficient too, but they all kind of have different design philosophies to get there.

I can’t really comment on Kia. I was curious also but I can’t get past their usual quality issues that plague them on the regular. I didn’t want to be a guinea pig for them. BMW has been making mass produced EVs longer than Tesla almost
