The future is sometimes really fucking annoying
just sometimes?

sometimes I wish we went back to designing things with slide rules.

I don’t disagree. Why do I need my own fucking at home power station ?! When the government has infinite resources to provide me with a reasonable and affordable power source.

So this is a size comparison no one asked for. You can see the IX quite a bit shorter than a :wrangler: also check out the flake in the paint … it’s quite nice

But what's the total grill area. I think it's pretty close between the two

Frontal area of IX is huge… the jeep has wheel cut outs .. so it’s a bit smaller

Interesting as the Wrangler is kind of short. I remember looking it up versus my wife’s old Fusion because she was like “it’s so big” and the Fusion was longer and wider.

I meant height wise … I think on paper the IX is 6” longer than the wrangler but in person it didn’t seem so. Wrangler is kind of “small” as far as suvs go… surprised to see the IX was a bit smaller profile wise …

Went to the liberal cesspool of SF. On a terrible gray day of nothing but fire and bums in SF.

Car already hit 5k miles which is pretty insane in 4 1/2 months.

I have had no real issues with the quality of this car.
Occasionally the door doesn’t open unless I pull my phone out of my pocket and bring it closer to the door. Other than that it’s nothing (I don’t use keys)

Car uses a massive 500kw or so per month. Since I live in utopia it would cost just about $170 a month in fuel if I didn’t have solar or free charging at work.

Just for reference I use about 300kw a month in my house during non ac months. And about 600 during months with ac.

So for those of you wondering … it’s a big impact to the grid and the budget if you’re paying for electricity.

Car is still great to drive and I thoroughly enjoy it, as well as well as the way it looks. Wouldn’t have it any other way. 0 regrets on getting another

What’s your all in electric cost per kWh? We are about $0.20/kWh in Philly area if you include all charges.

35 cents per kw when the car was charging.
It is 66 cents per kw at peak!
