Is that the factory battery location ? If so that’s super interesting. Don’t think I have ever seen a FWD car with a rear mounted batteryIrish wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 8:30 pm This one is Japanese......

The Japanese generally take really good care of their vehicles...
Demuro's words, not mine
This Mini also touts some other great benefits, including the fact that it was imported from Japan -- traditionally the best place to buy imported cars, as cars are usually kept to a very high standard in Japan.

Looks kinda like a dark blue/grey. I love the interior color with it Pretty classic.
Most MINIs are boring colors from what I can find.

Nice one![user not found] wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 6:56 pm This one is being sold by one of the only guys I trust to work on my car, Mike Marzo. He's the guy who did the clutch and other associated front end work last spring.

Stupid clean early R53, been gone over by him, has some good options - H/K, auto climate, heated seats. And only 33k miles.

MINIs are the last remaining performance value, and I don't think they will be for long, sadly.

I dunno about that. My mini depreciated a solid 30% even though most cars appreciated in the last year.
R gens are just all either beat to shit or in junkyards or both. They are getting quite rare in nice shape

Out of all the ones posted this one makes the most sense to me in a price vs. condition graph. It's pretty much showroom. Easily modified to make more power if you want, fun af. I'd probably enjoy driving it more than my plastic fantastic.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 11:06 am https://richmond.craigslist.org/cto/d/m ... 30959.html

No, I'm talking about that R zil posted. It's a brand new car for $11k. A damned Boxster in that same age/mileage/condition would be $40k now?
