Venza is a worse Rav4. So is the NX I suppose.

Jeeps fare worse. Almost every one of them, new included, squeaks their way down the road. Lexus seems the best oddly enough. Like an NX with balloon tires.
Ooohhh, that sounds nice! The new ones are being built in Ontario on the Rav platform, and they're only a few months old so I'm betting they will need a year or two to sort out all the small issues. The older ones on JPN build and probably built as well as Chris's 4R. My wife loves bombing her T-Reg over pot holes and speed bumps, and that thing is tight as a drum, but not everyone wants to do a new water pump every 5 or 6 yrs. I bet the RX is a beast and better suited to your landscape. You guys should take one for a spin.
Yeah, RX won’t happen. I dunno. I shouldn’t really care, it’s going to be her car and she likes it.

Not really. The Venza has a much higher load floor in the hatch and fake capacitive touch buttons everywhere. It also is heavier so performs worse. And looks worse.

Eh

Venza does not feel expensive inside at all. Overall Honderp products are better inside IMO than Yoda. Those are just my 2 cents.

:iono: the :plac: of a shitbox basic bitch CUV egg for another slightly different egg seems like a pretty colossal waste of money and effort. Like a Rav4 and a CRV are the same exact thing, :whocares: They're both very depressing.

:dat: trading up is really not achieved here. Reliable, biggish, cheap to run, under warranty.

Those larger SUVs may have better capacity to take on potholes and not tweak a link arm or whatever. RX and MDX are probably the most reliable in the segment and get like 19 mpg avg. I guess they're too big and :wasteful: :doe:

Someone in my neighborhood just bought a metallic green one. Didn't know they made them in that color, but it looks surprisingly decent.

Funny enough though, the Sienna is apparently unobtainium. The dealers I talked to about GR86 said they’re marking up Siennas even more than the $5k offered to me.
