We made it past reception and are in triage now. Today’s staff is much more what we’re used to, which is nice.

Mostly excited, a little scared. The fear is easing for her though with how good our nurse this morning has been. We just got moved to a delivery room and should meet our midwife soon. Dr. will be on standby if needed.

Met midwife. Apparently this could be a 2-3 day process. Michelle is severely allergic to one of the main medications they usually use, so they had to put a balloon in her uterus instead. Good news is that she was already a little dilated when they did that. They’re going to check on us in a few hours with hopes of being able/ready to administer pitocin in ~6 hours.
We’ll see. Gonna be a long fucking day.

that’s what the midwife estimated too based on the last growth scan and just feeling around for her right now.

Blood pressure was elevated at her OB appointment this morning, so they’re saying let’s induce tonight or tomorrow to avoid letting that possibly get to preeclampsia levels. Still no updates. We both got some naps in.
I did get my MRI results. Partial tear in my patellar tendon as I suspected, and mucoid degeneration in my ACL. Follow up appointment next Wednesday to see what my treatment options are.

Money hasn't made sense in a while, which is why I'm entering a spend it while I can approach. Helps that I'm not reproducing, this place is like a birthing den/daycare now. Good luck bros, hope all the best health and whatnot.
