Yeah I don't get prices so no more for me. The 86 is a 72 month commitment minimum.[user not found] wrote:I'd literally do it right now. Sell Jeep, and trailer and into poverty.troyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 12:34 pm I probably would have bought that Yaris if it were available here.

Eh, that was the point of buying new with the options that I actually wanted vs buying some 100k mile used one in the wrong color for half the price.max225 wrote:I’d wager to the contrary !troyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 12:43 pm Yeah I don't get prices so no more for me. Trying to figure it out. Need to test some designs first, but it really depends on volume and the cost.CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 12:23 pmWould this be something you make on your own or contract out production?MrH42 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 11:00 am Is this just the general car talk thread?
Anyone have experience making a product for a vehicle as a side business? Got an idea for my lesbo-wagon. Can probably net me $10k or so in the first few months, and then maybe a couple grand a year after with minimal work.
I think raw material would be <$30, and if I made them myself, I could probably do one in less than 15 minutes. Sell for $150? Maybe sell 100-200 a year?

I really wish the whole interior was light but that's about my only complaint. Anything else I can fix with modzzz, though for now I don't want to touch anything.[user not found] wrote:I that green and tan combo.troyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 12:49 pm Eh, that was the point of buying new with the options that I actually wanted vs buying some 100k mile used one in the wrong color for half the price.

That was our first family car (with no mods) we never changed the oil on it, in the 5 years we've had it, because we "didn't know". Just kept adding 1 quart every 2 months as it was burning it.troyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 1:17 pm Now here's a car with some cool MODZZZ

is that too much?
and RS are $40K cars, what is the difference? Some people pick the VW flavor which is focused on interior , some would pick this 'yota or something like an RS, which doesn't keep up with VW in interior quality but makes up for it in the performance/driving characteristics.

Agreed. And the market demonstrated that both vehicles are worth $40K new... I don't see why this Toyota is any different.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 1:41 pmRS dynamics > R 9/10 times. But VW interior is 9/10>RSD Griff wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 1:38 pm

And this Yaris is 600-700 lbs lighter than each so it could move to the front of the Dynamics comparison. I'm with Griff I think the price is fair, especially since there's no real competition.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 1:41 pmRS dynamics > R 9/10 times. I don't mind the price. The mini pooper is 45k with FWD only... Hype R is 38k, but they are better cars... (inside) and not based on something that people in Mogadishu aspire to.
I am sure the Yoder is an absolute riot to drive. Lightweight/small and with power is a formula that can't be beat.

Who knows what the price would really be here anyway, doing a straight currency conversion is nowhere near accurate.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 1:51 pmI don't mind the price. it's such a great and so easy. I rocked it in Miami traffic and it was fine. Some modern manuals are so easy I don't really understand why it's an issue for people. Not saying the STI is that, but have you driven an Si? Clutch is feather light, shifts are crisps, it's great.

They have a decent DCT on the ILX that I'm amazed isn't available on the Si.
That dct was lame in the ilx. Overall I wasn’t a huge fan of it, helped my co worker get a 2016 ilx a spec, lame car
