She's extremely extroverted. She thrives off human interaction, and all she really gets is me lately. It's taking its toll on her, and unfortunately I'm going to lose no matter what I do.

IDGAF about being isolated/alone.
I'm absolutely thriving during this.
Same. I couldn't be happier.

I boozed too hard this weekend and got a couple of bad nights and was playing catch up.... last night i think i finally caught up.
I booze too hard all the time...that's the issue.

Yesterday we were going to be sober. Then we opened a bottle of wine for "one glass" on the porch. Once that bottle was gone, we needed wine with dinner, and opened another. Then the greens came out.

We need to stop. Going to try our best tonight.
I'm getting mint iced tea wine delivered today. Interested to see how that is.

Wow, I've never heard of anything like that! for how it is. Could be a really nice summer beverage.

One of the girls at work was raving about it. So three of us split a case.

Got this to try as well.

I like when wineries in these regions own what they produce and have some fun. These could be great!

Same. I'm always down to try something different. I can get a Moscato or a Merlot from anywhere.

I'm more disappointed in my poor eating and drinking habits lately. I really don't feel very good physically, but I also don't seem to care that much. I feel like I'm letting myself down but also :aintcare: at the same time.

Wife is going absolutely insane and yelled at me for doing the dishes this morning. She said she was going to do them last night, but didn't...so I just did them because there was something in the sink smelling rank. I may have muttered "I hate doing dishes" and that sent her into :triggered: mode.

This isn't going to make you popular in any household, Karen.

Not wine but we accidentally bought cotton candy flavored grapes at the grocery store once thinking they were normal white grapes and were :mindblown: when we tasted them.

I always do the dishes despite not enjoying the task. I wasn't actively telling her that I hate doing them, she just overheard me say it as a pan I was washing managed to deflect water half way across the kitchen and I uttered it in frustration. Apparently, that was cause for :triggered:

Me too. Any stuff out on the drying rack or a clean dishwasher is the first thing that gets done while I drink coffee.

Seems like more of a Becky phrase really. He'd have been Karen if he'd asked to speak with his wife's manager about the smell.

Chris I will concede that sometimes I do not understand why certain items become WELDED to pans, which does make me scrub in anger.

It's really remarkable how food behaves when heated.

Our child tried to convince me that egg noodles had welded themselves to a plastic bowl the other day. :notsure: I think he was just being lazy, as teenagers do.

I'm not sure if it's high water pressure, or the design of the faucet, or what...but it's ridiculously easy for water to catch just the right angle in a pan, bowl, spoon, etc to make it shoot across the kitchen. We use cast iron pans, which means utilizing chainmail or a plastic scraper to clean. While welded substances are no match for chainmail, the pans are heavy and maintaining the perfect angle to prohibit long range water ejection is difficult and tiring. It's inevitable that once a cleaning cycle I'll get some long range water ejection, and when it happens I feel that an uttering of "I fucking hate dishes" out of frustration is warranted and not worthy of a spousal :triggered:

Bumped my 491k contribution up by 2% when I found out about my raise. Just checked my paystub for the first check with the raise in it, and after that and the extra taxes, I’ll have $3 extra in my weekly paycheck :troywax:

I oddly enjoy vacuuming and cleaning/polishing floors. Also cleaning bathrooms is generally :notbad:

I hate laundry, and I'm honestly neutral toward dishes. Dishes can just stack up so fast, and based off my experience above, can be trying at times.

Don't spend it all in one place!

Good on you for increasing your savings rate :doe: Future :massles: will thank you.

I was always :flaccid: about how little a pay increase can actually mean to take home. Tax increases and whatnot really eat into it.

I have a Roth IRA that I need to start bumping up my contributions into too. I barely put anything in there right now.

Yeah man it’s definitely :( to see. I was hoping I’d have enough left over after the 401k increase to throw an extra $25/check into cash savings too, but $3 :lolol:
