Fog lights in my experience do nothing for adding light for driving… but retina searing driving lights doJohnny_P wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 9:39 am Cold as shit this morning. Downside of this job is the 5am wake up routine. New floor mats are in and…. They look like floor mats? Good that I got them only halfway through salt season. I don’t think the carpet got too trashed.
I wonder if I could add fog lights behind the grille. The auto high beams work nicely but fog lights would help as some of the roads I take are pretty dark at this hour.

My Cammie sears eyeballs. People give me the highbeam flick-flick on dark two lane roads. Sometimes I throw them into daytime running light mode just to save those poor oncoming bastards from getting eye-raped by my lights.

Just looking for a bit more low beam light. It doesn’t need much but I do notice the lack of supplemental lighting for twisty back roads.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 10:53 amFog lights in my experience do nothing for adding light for driving… but retina searing driving lights doJohnny_P wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 9:39 am Cold as shit this morning. 65 mpg heading to Whole Paycheck and 55 coming back. Car is an animal.
I’m really appreciating just how nicely the Accord rides and how composed it stays in nearly all conditions despite the 19s. I wouldn’t say it is a sporty handler but it doesn’t all fall apart if you want to have some fun.
I’m also loving how enormous this thing is. It would be ridiculous for a city but in the burbs I’m noticing I’m not getting bullied around as much as I used to in the GTI. The red color might be helping here, the GTI was black.
Short list of mods include a roof rack for bikes, and maybe hopefully possibly speakers and an amp. The audio is one of the only things that actually annoys me about the car. Which… if that’s about all… then it’s doing pretty good.

We go for the produce. Our other options are ACME and Giant and both have absolute crap produce. We have been mixing in Trader Joe’s a lot more when we can, it’s just a madhouse there.

Strange that in a major metro area you have a lot of substandard produce.

You can get good stuff especially in summer time when farmers markets are all over. But produce at those two stores is so hit and miss. And usually miss.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 3:54 pmStrange that in a major metro area you have a lot of substandard produce.
