Reminds me of Michelle’s BFF’s husband.. the boner who wanted a wedding in Italy despite them being broke. They’re renting a tiny one bedroom house in whichever neighborhood they’re in in San Diego. He bought a Tesla (pretty sure just a model 3) right after shutting down his company and getting a job. Apparently most other houses in their hood have Teslas, one has only BMWs. Because they don’t have Teslas he refers to them as “the poor house”… bro, you financed your whole model 3, rent your house, and have a negative net worth.. they actually own their house, and probably their cars, one of which is an M3 that probably costs 2.5-3x what your Tesla did.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 9:31 amImagine having the pea sized brain to make that comment to a co worker. "I could pull your tiny dick truck across this parking lot."
(At the time I had the M3 & the E30)
Me;
'Cool, how many BMW's do you have again?"
Lame retort, I'm not always good off-the-cuff, but it was as lame as the instigating statement.

I’m sad to admit one of my best friends is probably 500k in debt (Non House), and shopping new cars pretending like he can afford it …SAWCE wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 9:56 amReminds me of Michelle’s BFF’s husband.. the boner who wanted a wedding in Italy despite them being broke. Of all of the people who I’m ever forced to spend time with, he is the one who is most likely to get punched in the face one day. I have yet to see a single redeeming quality in this dude.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 10:25 amThat's someSAWCE wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 9:56 am

Woah. At one point when I was unemployed and having to pay rent in SD plus my mortgage in Lancaster because my tenants disappeared with no warning on top of some other bad decisions I’d made, I got up to like $35k in credit card debt.. there were serious thoughts about throwing in the towel with how insurmountable that hole seemed to climb out of. I can’t imagine half a mil.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 10:27 amI’m sad to admit one of my best friends is probably 500k in debt (Non House), and shopping new cars pretending like he can afford it …SAWCE wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 9:56 am

The shitty part is that out system is set up to let him. File for bankruptcy, lay low for seven years and then repeat the process. I understand it being allowed to happen when shit goes sideways.. you lose your job, go through a divorce, and are forced to sell a house that you’re underwater on all at the same time or something, but when people are actively digging those holes knowing they have a relatively easy out it’s wild. When they file their bank and cc statements should all be analyzed and if it was frivolity, they should be denied.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 11:08 amHe took credit card debt and rolled it into a loan… etc etc. he’s just mounting more and more debt going on 10k cruises … planning Disney land etc. it makes meSAWCE wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 10:52 am

Fuck, couldn't quote Coogs.

If you scroll down they have another 2024 with similar miles for $10k less:
https://www.indysunlimitedmotors.com/pr ... -3/1167838
Color isn't as hot, but it's still
But $10G's for a color?

There's one in that color around me somewhere. I see him on I-75 coming home from work some days. Looks fantastic.
I'm 90% sure he has an aftermarket exhaust though. The tips don't seem to line up as well as a factory exhaust should (granted, this is looking at it while driving on the highway with him). It drones like a mother fucker. I always try to pass and get in front of him so I don't just have a constant hum pounding me in the chest.

That has to be an individual color. But that price puts you into an xdrive M3.

This would make a whole heck of a lot more sense at $50k. Same price as a new Golf R, basically, and I'd much rather have this.

Curious to see what this goes for. If RS5 is too much what about S5 sportback?coogles wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 12:47 pm$80k for what is essentially a Golf isGberg2119 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 12:32 pm That has to be an individual color. But that price puts you into an xdrive M3.

Whatever we buy next will almost certainly be the new family hauler.
This is nitty gritty

Now, the twins are getting to the point of outgrowing the convertible seats they are in and will be ready for high back boosters soon. Those will likely too wide to fit on the bench portion of that center row and will have to go in the two outboard seats. Well...now how do you get to the third row? The Atlas has child seat friendly folding second row seats, but doing that with the car seat in the place is a huge pain and makes moving that seat out of the way to access the rear really difficult.
An Atlas with captain's chairs would almost certainly work better, but that would require buying a whole new car since that shit ain't reconfigurable like in a minivan.
