And there's absolutely nothing wrong with rear drums. Perfectly acceptable in a truck.

Nobody seems to care, and Toyota is laughing all the way to the bank. Drum brakes are quite a bit cheaper than disks.

Well, these all appear to be older 3.6 engines. The engine was updated in 2016 for the Colorado and 6th gen Camaro, then other new 3.6L vehicles after. No idea if the timing chain was "fixed" or not, but there were a number of "improvements" made to that engine. I walked a couple laps of the parking lot and I really like how my
looks.
A ZR2 would be ideal, and correct the little issues I have with my Z71, but that wasn’t in the cards a few years ago.

Im an advocate for drum brakes on the taco. I even supported adding them to the Colorado Work truck trims to pay for cooler shit on ZR2. All engineering tests prove that drum brakes perform just as well on the back of a pickup as disks since the fronts do even more work since there's so little weight on the rear.
Whatever. Clearly I and OEM engineers are morans.

Also I found a TRD pro at sticker... 1800 miles away. Debating doing that road trip, but I am moving furniture this weekend and my sig other is going to shit a brick if we're in a car/truk for 24 hrs.
