Time will tell.

For the record, I loved the JT when I worked for GM. It might be my favorite new product launch on the past 10 years.

I really liked that truck. If I were 100% neutral, I'd probably still have a ZR2, despite my love for the JT. It's a much better value.

Man...a 4cyl TJ would be a really tough sell for anything more than a 100% wheeling toy.

When he works for Ford he'll off the Gladiator and say the Ranger Raptor is amazing and rides better than the magic shocks and the cloud like JT with a better engine than either, it's seriously 5/7 and I don't see myself :plac: for a long time.

:wat:

When did I say the Gladiator rides better than the ZR2 did? It doesn't...in fact I prefer the ride and handling of the ZR2 to the Gladiator. The ZR2's magic shocks really are fantastic...nobody can touch them. The Gladiator is more like a cloud, but that's not always a good thing. The ZR2 is a perfect balance of sporty and soft.

I really liked the ZR2. I seriously debated buying the lease out, but ultimately wanted to tow the company line and "vote with my wallet". If the ZR2 wasn't a lease, I'd still have it...I liked it that much.

I do prefer the Gladiator, but mostly because I've been drinking the Jeep :koolaid: for as long as I can remember. When I was 8, going with my dad to buy the CJ7 we restored has been cemented in my gearhead foundation.

I have an irrational hatred for Ford and I'll never work there. This is my last OEM, my next move will be to a supplier or hopefully out of the industry entirely.

The 2.3 is pretty neat, but I've read the 10 speed with it is not that great.

V6 and 8-speed works well. Too bad the 8-speed is a pile in the Colorado.

Should the Colorado get the 2.7 from the Silverado...

There's a chance that I'll pick up another 951 or a 996 or something German in the next few years, but that would just be as a "fun car". Though, it's more likely that I'd :troywax: on a newer glamper before another car I won't drive. Michigan BLOWS for car ownership.

I wanna see more turbo 4-pots in the midsize market with 8-speed transmissions.
I really like the 2.0 in the JL. It pairs really well with it. That engine tuned up just a tad would be fantastic in the Gladiator.
