Works just fine. No complaints.
The Michelins are at 8/32 all around after 3,791 miles.
And while waxing the calipers I found 2 small scratches on top of the front passenger side brembro.

Also, one downside of having black lug bolts is that the impact wrench really beats them up. Coating is starting to peel a bit so I’ve started breaking them by hand again which kind of defeats the purpose of the impact.
As annoying as those VW caps could be I’ve always liked how they cover the lugs.

Using an impact to break em loose is kind of not the name of the game imo. I generally go by hand then screw them loose with the impact.

My black lig nuts are fucked and rusty water pools in the lug holes.
I just clean the wheels every week

Yeah that’s what I did the rest of the way. It still helps speed up wheel changes and I guess it’s nice to have if the dillerman ever blasts them on at 200 ft lbs.

Doesn’t hurt to hit the outside of the socket too if it can rub on the wheels getting into the holes for the lug nuts.

I've had my HF 1.5 ton aluminum jack for over 10 years and never had a problem with it. I only upgraded to the 3 ton because the M3 weighs a good bit more than the VW's. After the usual coupon I think I paid around $130 for the 3 ton.

Yea my 2 ton 20 year old Walmart jack is not giving me a good feeling lifting the 5700ix. It also doesn’t go high enough to get the entire side off the ground.

My black BMW lugs looked like such crap I could not paid them with new ramz. I did the titanium thing.

Your apex ramz are anthracite right? The silver doesn't stick out too much from a dark colored wheel?

Also just noticed this this morning. Toyota dealer so impressive. The tech couldn’t take the 5 seconds to peel off the old maintenance sticker to put the new one on.
Such laziness. Very impressive.

It seems like the overall dealership "tech" quality is completely in the shitter. I also hear that "lube" techs at toyota in particular are at minimum wage and have huge turn over. I think it's
to try and save money by having the least trained and motivated people do a crucial routine service on your vehicles. Especially considering how much toyota engines cost. ($30k for a tacoma engine)

ORLY? I find indy's to be kind of pricy even compared to stearshits unless they are hole in wall places using non oems parts.
