Maybe so, but no car is perfect. I’d argue MK7.5 has some things that the Sport doesn’t that are better.troyguitar wrote: ↑Mon Aug 06, 2018 10:31 amThe Sport trim was 100% perfect.razr390 wrote:Y’all some picky mofos

The only thing missing are fog lights. Other than that it's perfect.

combo. Now if you want the magic diff you need a broken sunroof. I get mad just thinking about that sunroof.

I have never noticed a difference between fog lights and no fog lights in any amount of fog. They're just another thing to be broken.Gberg2119 wrote:99%

I looked in to this when a rock put a hole in my front bumper. Without the wiring labor and coding, it’s $2500 in parts just for the OEM fogs, computers and switches.

Is that standard pricing, or employee pricing?

That’s actually a good score. 1 below RS3.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 6:19 pm Stumbled upon to this, this dougscore kinda makes me

The overall score its better than its competitors, and rs3 is essentially the same car with a badge and a more powerful engine, of course the badge may contribute to the dougscore as well.razr390 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 6:25 pmThat’s actually a good score. 1 below RS3.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 6:19 pm Stumbled upon to this, this dougscore kinda makes me

Surprised he didn’t list the un-openable center console area. That’s definitely a “quirk”

Omg yessss, I literally forgot about that, perks of driving a lowly GTI I guess. He’d probably really exaggerate about it too. Also the bottom of key metal click thing, what R and GTI owner would want to show off the key that appears to belong in a lowly jetta or passat or perhaps just make it come with metal, and use the pleb clip money for the functional center console.

If they have put euro driver assist features and the park pilot, they should damn well make a functioning center console like hmmm idk, every single fucking car in the US market.

Def putting it on my "to watch" list for the day. I do like the golfs... but the 46k after tax puts at tesla model 3 (dual motor) category (as those get 10k from .gov+state) . And No way in hell would I go golfMexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 6:46 pmOmg yessss, I literally forgot about that, perks of driving a lowly GTI I guess. I saw a green GTI today. Someone at work got a brand new one, dealer paper tags and all.
It looks I guess but it's not at all bright or flashy. Can't really even tell it's green until the sun hits it directly, it almost looks like a blue/black in the shade.
overall, but they could have done a bit better IMO. It's a few shades darker than the typical Ford green of the late 90s. I can go stalk a pic if anyone I think the red accents are wrong on it though, they should be silver because it looks too much like Christmas.
I think I'd go red or silver. Probably silver. Or that tungsten gray color of the R, which curiously is probably my favorite MK7 color.
