Like...

have a beer or something and get back at it tomorrow
Spoken like someone who’s never sawzall’d a car into thirds and dumped them in construction site dumpsters…
Lol a few months ago I put pieces of Miata motors in my trash because I couldn't give them away, and it wasn't worth the effort or cash to drop them off at the metal scrap place. So one week I put the head, week later it was several intake manifolds. Then finally a block and oilpan sandwiched between a bunch trash bags full of other stuff. I nearly lost sleep debating if I should go and take it out, but nope.... 6am I heard the trash truck's brakes in front of my house. I stuck my head over my headboard like it was christmas morning and watched that robotic arm man handle that trash bin like it was a roll of toilet paper. No sound, no nothing. I was afraid it would drop it in an empty container and *BOOOOOOOM* that bitch.
Then it was back to bed.

The last three days I've gotten a text or call from the Corvette service advisor saying "got this warning, your car does this while this, this didn't do what it's supposed to" etc etc and I had an answer for everything. Either he hasn't driven many C5s or mine is just a POS

What warnings?
I get the low washer fluid warning each startup but it's because I keep the bottle empty due to it turning on and emptying the entire contents at the worst times like when I'm in the middle of an autocross run.

Many C5s ARE POSs at this point. Older cars are even worse.

Charge system warning, service warning for God knows what, seat rail slop, Chinese HIDs not going down unless in high beams etc etc
I just hope I have time to fix the bluetooth before the 10hr drive Monday

Also is there a break in procedure for an OEM clutch? Other than just not dumping the bitch or flat foot shifting etc

Just don't hammer on it for the first 1k miles. Best is ~500 miles of easy stop and go or city type driving to start.

I've always just daily driven it pretty chilled for about 500 miles. Lots of engagements and disengagements with regular traffic, but nothing that gets it too hot. You want it to bed in but not heat up and glaze it so it doesn't bite. Long trip really isn't the best way to do it, you really would normally prefer stop and go traffic. Definitely don't push it hard for a while

You can run it up to redline. Just don't drag race it for a few hundred miles.

700 miles on a fresh clutch?
Totaled.
Lol just kidding. I think you'll be ok. Just be sure to get those engagements and disengagements going for a good few hundred miles when you get home. You really want that thing to bed in evenly and not get hot spots and glaze over to not bite down

Just drive the thing like a semi-normal person. Highway miles won't hurt it, they just won't really help break it in much either.

Unfortunately I just don't have time for that. Luckily the service advisor has been driving it all week

I have found the premium on that card to be worth it all day long in Non Covid Times.

I don't travel a ton, but when I do I like to make it as nice/smooth as possible for myself so I don't really mind the fee.

Layovers in airport lounges pay that fee back in a hurry. Plus the free baggage credit on a given airline, plus $15/month in Uber, plus, plus plus plus.
