I like it !
I'm honestly more intrigued by this than the Bronco. While the Bronco pretty much copies the Wrangler (which isn't hard), Ford managed to make a crossover somehow badass/cool...which nobody has really been able to do yet. This thing will go anywhere most people will want to go, with more comfort, efficiency, and livability. It's great.

It is a cross tranny with a motor. :notbad: only thing that sucks is the Yugo steering wheel

I don't pay attention to cars much anymore. Just not much interest I guess.

But a rally car interests me greatly. Would be a riot in my area.

Rumor is that we'll get a GR Corolla hatch, but not sure on details or powertrain. :iono:
https://www.toyota.com/upcoming-vehicles/gr-hot-hatch/

There’s a reason this page exists on toyota’s website in the “upcoming vehicles” section.

The website says it's not coming but something else is. Probably a quickish crossover of some sort just for US. Yay.

"While GR Yaris isn't coming to the U.S., perhaps it's time the U.S. got a Toyota hot hatch to call its own. One that continues to push the boundaries of performance. And one that can only come from TOYOTA GAZOO Racing. Are you with us?"

It'll be a hot hatch. Toyota has been delivering as of late.
Well a corolla with that powertrain would be great. That yaris is at the end of the day hideous and the corolla hatch is good looking.
Also Corolla name is a bit more palatable than YARIS. But that's like picking a tallest midget... Either way it would be fun to see something more exciting from toyota. As the "Exciting" models are sub 3 at the moment.

All of your arguments are null and void because the GR Yaris is Allah's gift to the automotive world. It's the 2020 car of the year in my book.
Allah's gift to Automotive journalist community sure. Those that will actually buy the car remain to be seen. I really like the car, but if the a craprolla that has the same powertrain I wouldn't cry myself to sleep over it. Both are :neat:

:notwrong: on all points.

Sure a little heavier is slightly meh, but it will indeed be better looking and also more usable for Americans who don’t tend to favor small cars.

Those HIDs are bright AF. It makes me wonder about them pointing to straight forward for the non-truck/SUV oncoming traffic, but then again I drive a Golf and those things seem set to point down more then they need to be.

I absolutely  the green colour.

A Corolla is still a pretty small car, not Yaris small but I think it is a wise move in the NA market.

EBCM isn't fixable on pre-01 cars. Unless that's changed recently. It's why I specifically shopped for an 01+.

The camera software is making them slightly brighter than they appear in person, but they're a significant improvement over the stock lights. You can also see in the photo pointing across the street the left side is pointed down compared the the right. Are they perfectly positioned? Most likely not. Will I do anything about it? Definitely not :lolol:

@Griff I'm not sure what brand. I got them from Troy. They do weird things like having to push the stalk into high beam for them to go back down. No idea why but it's just normal I guess for the chyna stuff

@Max as Big D said the ebcm issue just is what it is on the early cars. Also it's definitely a BEATR now with an accident on the Car 🦊

Dang there is no way to rebuild the unit etc ? I had to do it on mine at 23k miles because GM quality...

It looks great and low miles, these are starting to be pretty rare birds in good shape. Even though they cranked out 30k a year for 7 years, time is a bitch and they have been “cheap” for 10 years or so falling into some pretty bad hands

:dat: , the left side is more important, and imagine that adjusting those babies isn't worth the hassle since they aren't that bad anyways.

Nobody figured out how to rebuild the early units, mostly because it was REALLY fancy tech at the time. By 01, it was redesigned for the Z06 launch and getting more common for the corp, so more modules were built in higher volume...I guess making it easier for people to identify how to rebuild them?
