I miss my days of $325/month rent.
I never had that. Our Tustin studio was 1,400.
Our last Charlotte apartment was that, It sucked after my wife’s townhouse where the mortgage + HOA was like $900. I’m glad to at least be locked in now.

I ended up pouring a Maker’s Mark.
Excellent choice
I have the cask strength that my BIL gave me on my birthday almost a year ago. It’s a little strong for me but it’s still

Seltzers are 5/7, way lower hangovers, about as good as you’ll get calorie wise for
, nice variety of flavors.

I thought I was the only person who wasn’t really about the chess show. It was just kinda dark for me.
A cool chess set sounds 5/7
I never heard of it.

“The Queens Gambit” on Netflix. It’s been getting rave reviews from everyone..

Get it gone man. I find eliminating debt extremely liberating. All we have is the house, and at 2.6% for 30years, I'm in no rush to pay it off. Especially since it costs less than the rent for the studio apartment we had in Tustin California 8 years ago.
I miss my days of $325/month rent.

We’re going to my sig others boss’ Superbowel party.
The question is ... do I flex on his custom ordered Aston Martin and X6M, with a gen 1 taco with 255k miles, my mini or the other taco

Winter is here finally. Hit 7 degrees high so far today, and the temps dropped so fast that the lake is steaming and creating snow...it's fascinating to watch.
Of course I realized that beebeep hasn't moved in over two weeks, so decided to take that out to run some errands so the battery doesn't die. Realized that I never got a garage door opener, so of course 7 degree day is the day to do that right? Notice the chain for the opener has slack, so tighten that too right? Couldn't have done this when it was above freezing last week, nope waited until today. At least it's done.
Not using salt on the roads is quite something...it's a slippery mess and people just deal. I thought I could be a big man and go in 2WD, then got stuck in an intersection turning left, so 4WD will probably stay engaged for... a while.
FWD cars don't care, but RWD is pretty danged worthless in this weather.
