I technically have all the gear to ride in about 25F temps.
40 is my limit. I don't have much fun below that.
Yeah freezing is usually my limit.

If anyone wants to play bikes on a mixed terrain road/gravel/singletrack ride, my "team" is hosting a thing in Belmont and Wiss on December 16th at 10AM. Start behind the Art Museum. Bring an ornament to decorate a tree in Belmont, lol.

Free. Likely will have whiskey shots. Bring your flask.

Hai guise. It was a nice 52 or so this morning so I went on a pre-work ride at the US National Whitewater Center here in Charlotte. Really :fuckyeah: that that place is on the way to my orifice. Road about 12 miles on the trails there, over 50 miles total. Good shit.

Also... for the experts. I am thinking about buying the gf a bike. Budget of under $500 (preferably well under), new or used, would be for light road, greenways, derping, no long rides or difficult trail stuff at all. Any recomendations? She seems to like beach cruiser style stuff, but those are lame, I'd likel something that isn't 100 pounds. Some kind of hybrid thing would be neat, I know little about bikes.

The tempt is a little more mountain bikey with wider tires. The rove is a bit more on the road/gravel path/ around town kind of thing, a little more upright.

Something like this.

Honestly, best bet is going to the LBS to see what they have. Find something old stock or whatever.

Or

Whatever fits her right though. Ask her what style she would like. Anything is fine on paths.

Got the mount on and a test fit with the bike. Just waiting on the fairing to show up later today. Will be taking it out for a ride tomorrow.

Ignore the Johnny P level of filth on the car

:fuckyeah:

Wheel on bike mount is the way to go unless you have a :truk:

Also no clamp mount for the rack must be great. :jelly:

I love the front of that jersey. Lol. Would need the Wrong portion to be more of a stamped type look though.

Went to Brewerytown Bikes today and picked up some tubes for Randy Savage’s 32mm tires :excited:

I haven’t tried out the new tubeless wheels I bought though. I have no bike time right now.

Didn't let the fog/mist keep me inside yesterday and rode more of the rail trail. Was about 14 miles round trip. Once they open the bridge over the Lehigh I'll be able to ride my bike to Jim Thorpe.

Trying to get in as much as possible before I head to Myrtle Beach after Christmas. I'll be hitting some actual trails with my brother in law so not trying to get left in the dust lol

Throw in a hill or two to build some muscle. Mountain biking requires a good bit of muscle power, as it tends to be short bursts of power whereas road biking is more constant even power.

If anyone sees any dills, let me know.
There's barely any deals ever. For black friday all they offered was a bottle opener, sweat shirt and a water bottle with a rack purchase.

It's worth the money though. Plus, they have an awesome wall mount.

It's 45+ minutes west of me with traffic - no time on a lunch break. Maybe they can drop it here?
