Seems manageable.

There's a decent amount of covfefe, fixies, :doge: parks and other :rudy: lyfe stuff in the city. It's pretty nice overall if you can get 2 jobs in town.

:aintcare: as soon as it goes over 80 with humidity I'm done. Arid I enjoy 80, and can tolerate mid 90s. I hate being sweaty.
#metoo. It can be swampy but honestly thats going to be anywhere in north america thats not the rocky mountains.

boulder/Denver area.
I'd love to live there. Lisa doesn't want perpetual cold. I'll have to look into it more but our friends out there say there is a ton of snow.
it really depends the area and side of mountains you live on. It can't be any worse than the philly cold.

Worth looking at I’d say. Probably not as warm as you’d like by March, but ticks a lot of boxes.

I went to Portland during Thanksgiving weekend, it was gorgeous wasn't that cold at the time.

Don't forget Cali too, primarily by the coast, LA, SF. Gets chilly at night in June and I'm actually ok with that.

Philly winters tend to be rather mild.

Amusingly, you guys aren't looking for much different of a place than us... for the results of your research. I'm kind of stuck on Charlotte despite the humidity.

I'm really tired of Trumpistan, which is tough because almost everywhere warm is also Trumpy.

Hardly perpetual cold. And certainly a better climate that Philadelphia.
:dat: Denver averages 300 days of sunshine each year. Even when it snows overnight it’s often melted the next day.

No real rush, just an interesting exercise. We've talked about moving but the only way we are doing that is if we are both on board with the location.

I had a breakdown in Louisville in March. Buddy's truck shredded the serpentine belt on the highway at 4am. Dat Duramax kept running though then put a belt on in the pouring rain once Advance Auto opened.
