dang, I'd hit it.

I like my gti but its getting awfully long in the tooth. I'll need to decide soon if I'm riding that :mk6: down to zero doll hairs or make a lateral move into some a little newer.

Honestly doe, for a daily the only things that interest me in the ~10k price range is another GTI, a focus st, fiesta st (but its realistically too smol), or a fiat 500 abarth (which is for sure too smol, and i might as well get a :meata: )
the fiat does have a usable back seat :doe: especially for kids.

They are also comically cheap for the 2013 years.

ahhh fuck those have had epic depreciation....

Realistically a v6 rav4 is better in almost every way :doe:
No v8 no better.
The magnum also has 25% more interior volume.
It also isn’t a rav 4.
3 major things that are better about the :doge:
Cargo volume with seats down is 72 cu ft in the :doge: and 73 in the Rav. Both have ancient 5-speed slushboxes and do 0-60 in about 6 seconds. Most magnums are trashed by now, way harder to find. It's like 800 lbs heavier too with slow wonky steering and ghetto styling. It basically has a V8, which is not insignificant, but that's it.

Odd I got interior volume of 133 for the magnum? Can’t just be an extra 25 cu ft in the front. Looks to be around 4170lbs vs 3550-3670. So a bit less in weight diff.
But the magnum is cool, and rare. Whereas the rav4 is just plain ol vanilla. I’d vote magnum for sure

Always thought these were super cool, even though I'm not the biggest fan of the interior, which is admittedly fine.

I love these a lot more than I should, and they look really nice in white, IMO.

A friend of mine in highschool had an '88 240, sedan auto. We lined up at a redlight, and my S-10 pulled on him so hard.
This is the same S-10 that trapped the 1/4 in 18.3s @67 mph.

This isn't just slow, this is advance slow.
