Things done to gromlin:

The big performance mod this go around was the addition of the Power commander Wideband 2 module.
This little piece of magic does a few things. It reads a wideband sensor to adjust your tune on the fly to a target afr you set. Then it stores the trim values in a separate table so you can go back later and trim your main table; this is so you can eventually remove the wideband sensor since they do wear out. Finally it simulates (LIES!) the narrowband output to the OE O2 sensor to keep the stock computer happy. It was a lot of wiring since i needed to tap a switched power source, but wait....nothing is stable enough to power it! So I had to put in a relay as well.
This means my somewhat pathetic storage was now full of wiring and power commander shite

So i fixed that too :D

AVD GROM ACTIVATED
I was planning on this for a quick minute anyway. I had installed the tail rack + tail tidy a few weeks ago, and mounted up the helmet case. As you can see it hides the tail light very effectively, so I wired in (at the same time as the PCV of course) an LED strip that is 3M taped to the handle of the box. It looks really good and is super effective.

Image

Even has turn signals! This is wired under the seat to a 5 flat connector for ease of conversion back to track grom.

Image

Added bar end mirrors that i can see out of. These too are one fastener away from being removed for track d00ty. With taping up I should be able to go to track ready in under 10 minutes with two tools. not bad really.

Image

This is the obligatory :lolol: pic from when i had to wheel the bike inside to hook up the power commander. This is also a pic of how much i hate working on laptops. Since i had auto tune turned off, even loading the map with it turned on to the pc did not show the afr targets tables. I had to physically hook up the bike, get the map, reconfigure for VATOT00N, and save to get it to load up correctly without the bike being connected again. (NB: this is so i can edit, manage, and save tables in excel, like 100x easier than dicking around the cells of your PCV)

My CBR 600RR pegs came in too, but I didn't open the package till after i was done. 15 minute job to install next time anyway.
