Hyundai/Kia are all about that sneaking in with stuff that is actually cool move, all the while most of us are totally unaware of the offerings.

While they are DCT’s, most KIA/Hyundai’s have a dry DCT versus the Veloster N that will have a wet DCT. The dry ones are notoriously terribad.

I'd give it a whirl. Everyone said the Focus one was awful too, but I liked it :iono:

Rented a house from uhaul yesterday. Loaded it with 1500 lbs of debris, drive it to the dump, and unloaded it all again.

I miss trucks. I want a truck. V8s are the right motors.

I guess a V6 truck would work too but I love the stump pulling torque and noises. This was an Express 3500 with the six-oh. It had some serious balls. I should have tried to beat Cale’s burnout record in it.

Side note. I fit that bitch down my street. It was not easy and I was at sub walking pace but it happened.

A hybrid pickup would be awesome. V6 hybrid. All the torque you need instantaneously. Beefy frame is more than capable of hauling a battery pack anyway.

What we need is a V8 mid-size. Full-size are just too damn big for everyday use, IMO.

Zero rebuttals on a V8 being the right motor for a truck. Noises+torques are beautiful.

Yeah. Like a smaller V8 would be pretty awesome. But there is no real point, the latest V6 motors are quite good.

Truth. The current V6s need more revs than a V8, but they do quite well.
Hell, I even got a 23.4mpg tank the other week.

I fit :dat: Bang Bus down some really tiny places back in the day. I remember actually backing into a pole in a really tight spot in downtown Philly when my backup cam was broken and I had no spotter.

yes. yes it does. only 37 mpg doe. eh.
Hyundai ioniq. Supposedly drives like a normal car. 6 speed auto. Hatch like the prius. Normal interior.

I like the hybrid corolla though. I think it looks good. Only real knock is it’s slow. I’d gladly trade 5 MPG for a bit more balls.
Ive been in one of those once via Lyft once, it was very roomy and smooth. :mahtroy: went :stig: on that thing, it didn't felt :disgust:

1.4t Euro Tiguan with 7 speed DSG, little less than a quarter of a tank wasted with only 155 miles.
1.4 turbo diesel Polo with around 400 miles and didn't even reached half a tank.

Buying any car in Turkey that's 2 liters or more is Singapore levels of :fullretard: pricing. Even compared to Euro countries with the currency. I realized that you had to pay additional government tax upon purchase (basically on purpose, which goes to Erdogan), basically the more expensive the car the more percentage of that tax is being added on based on the engine size itself. A 2.0 Golf TDI is more expensive than a base model :gorf: in the US :mindblown:

The polo I had did not even feel slow driving here, the corolla hybrid basically felt like a Tesla :hue:

Now I know why some foreigners buy such nice :waxer: cars in the US, because it's sooo goddamn easy in comparison.

New gen Tundra for 2022 will be V6 Turbo Hybrid, with the hybrid system providing “torque fill” to compensate for lag. Like a McLaren P1. Demand for diesels has been small, but very loud. Instead, they’re taking some of the tech ideas from the WEC program and going all in.
