That's probably the type of thing that I should actually be driving.

The battery fix which costs anywhere between $50-500 will get that thing back up to 4k "value" and it has nearly no running costs. 200k miles for a prius is nothing.D Griff wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 6:34 pm$2500 for a non running Prius with almost 200K miles?max225 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 6:25 pm https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/d/ ... 35394.html

Why do you need a garage with the best weather in the world?max225 wrote:Not rich after you factor in COI.troyguitar wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 6:24 pmabout what's cheapest, if I'm in CA it's because I'm rich like you and can afford a few grand a year to have a cool car instead of a pod. Probably 2 cool cars so that one can be available when the other is in the shop.
But we went down this path before. I only have a 1 car garage... going to a 2 car is going to cost 400k down and 6k a month. A bit more than a "few grand a year" unless you want to rent a garage somewhere.

We are going to a 1-car carport which will be the best setup I've ever had... I still have had multiple cars often and work on them.

it’s fast enough to generate actual downforce

We're talking about serious ounces of down force here.

That car is too dangerously slow for a track, it's highly unsafe.

I wish I lived a few minutes from a track.

Man, that sounds great, but the noise would get fucking old.
We can fantasize about the sound of a straight piped GT3 or a screaming v10/12, but the reality is you’ll be listening to some poor on a clapped out GSXR600 with no discernible exhaust muffling. Let me tell you those things are physically painful to listen to
