This is best. Same for with Kendra. Her Kia Soul is a soulless POS. Lol. But it's hers. She doesn't keep it clean, she cranks the AC and turns the car off with it going full blast, so the starter has to deal with engaging the compressor every time. She doesn't check oil, she rides that "EMPTY" line often (I've had to meet her to fill her up with a gallon of gas several times). But I ain't paying on it, so I don't care. I keep up with the oil and shit for her, but that's it. She has gotten better at situational awareness with her driving tho since she started autocrossing.

It's a great car for her and Jess, but for me, that shit ain't gonna cut it. As long as it lasts and I don't have to bail her ass out of any major repairs I'm happy with it.

Just saying, example yesterday. I'm at a meeting in Riverside, headed back over the 60 to the desert, about 1/6 of a tank left. 60 is blocked completely, by some an epic 5 car accident, probably somebody checking fantasy football or waze. I get forced onto a detour that is bumper to bumper.....for like 10 miles. I see how fucked this is, pull a U and head home back through Riverside on the 215 to the 10. All of this SoCal highway disaster (common) forces me to drive 55 miles I DID NOT INTEND TO. I end up pulling off on the 10 at some shithole gas station. Had I followed my usual parameters I would have been able to get home ZFG. Get gas where you want, when you have time. Otherwise, this shit always happens.

Last time I got in her car and saw it was stupid low, I said if she runs out of gas, her ass is walking to get a 1 gallon tank to fill it up. I'm not going to call any of my friends because of your ignorance to a simple problem with an easy solution. You stop at the gas station constantly to get coffee and fucking Diet Coke, you can put a few bucks in the tank at the same time.
