Exactly. The is a different kind of fun - I love it. I don't care much about it leaking a little if I remove the carpet, so I'm gonna pull the carpet out tomorrow and get some quotes for coating the interior with something.

Yeah, you can put factory carpet back in. I won't be.

I'm leaving the factory sound insulation, it'll be sprayed under the harnesses. It'll add a little sound insulation, and also a little temperature insulation.

I dunno man... leaving it out is bold... it isn't a rock crawler that is getting dunked into 5 feet of water... but it will look like one on the inside... It has still DD duties to fulfill, and the carpet adds a lot of insulation/comfort.

I've still got all-weather floor mats, and this will make it easy to clean in terms of dog hair, dirt, etc.
