well fuckers. there is some hackjob wiring for sure. PO says the vw diller did it, which I find hard to believe.
The TB plug is cut and spliced into generic over sized yellow wires that run straight to the ECU... I found where they used to be in the main harness and about 24" of wire is missing and the ends are just cut and open..
all jokes aside, i dont want to dig into this. It runs and drives had 1 billion codes and faults. Will see what comes back but I suspect the hacking into the main harness at ECU was what set the ECU fault code.
