Oh yeah, now that it's dark out almost 24/7 I've had a chance to test the 2017+ headlights... they're really good. It's like I suddenly got better glasses, driving at night doesn't bother me as much as it did before.

Worst that could happen is a wind gust takes it and causes damage/injury to someone. Those tents are tough to keep on the ground unless you dig holes and mount them properly in concrete.

Get cinder blocks and wrap some wire around the bottom of the carport. I mean it should be workable. It won't go anywhere, not like you're in oklahoma.

I didn’t even notice it till people called it out

I drove around with no plate on my Outback for a summer and got 5-6 tickets. Even got pulled over in the middle of the city where the cops 100% have something better to do but no they'll still pull you over. I ended up zip tying it to the bottom of the radiator opening in my bumper.

I did this exact same thing after my first warning. But I made it two years without that stupid thing drilled into my bumper.

The plastic plate holder things drilled to the bumper act as supplemental bumpers though. Around me, cars that have them, although looking a tad off, have FAR fewer parking scars than cars without them.

X 1000000. There are some custom mounts that don't drill your bumper but the tow hook mounts are stupid looking.

The other reason I really don't care about this shit is that the 86 front end is by far the ugliest of the FR-S, early BRZ, late BRZ, and 86 cars. Toyota dun fucked up. The 17+ BRZ looks waaaaaay better. With the big ass front plate it's a lot less noticeable



Continental snow tarz were ordered today, gonna get them mounted on Thursday and have the stock Prius tarz moved to my SSR for next June. I wimped out and got the ice tires instead of the performance winters, hopefully they are tolerable in the dry/wet conditions they'll see 95+% of the time.
