I mean...it's literally a fucking bus. The chassis is a Freightliner bus/firetruck chassis. Only so much you can do aesthetically with a brick.

Well, last camping trip this season in the books. We ended up using the glamper 10 times this season...owned the camper for 7 months. It's completely changed the game. This weekend in particular, the temps got below freezing Friday night, but fired the furnace up and it was enough to keep the chill out all night. Not "warm" by any means, but my face was comfortable, which is the biggest challenge with camping in the cold.
Everything works great on the camper. Drained all the water systems, and I'll probably add some RV anti freeze to the lines just in case there's residual water in there looking to create issues. Then it'll be into the garage once it's done and packaged away until next spring. We're already talking about hopefully starting the camping season in late April this year. We've talked at length about buying a new camper that it's better shape, but at the end of it we don't want a tall hard sided something, and I want to be able to stand up (at least most of the way) inside. That leaves us with a new pop-up, which other than the power up/down function, I fail to see the benefit over what we have now for
Now, for this final trip...

This was the 3rd time staying at this state area. It's one of the largest state rec areas, and includes 3 camp grounds. One has hookups for bigger campers, and there's two tucked WAY back (like a 20 minute drive on narrow dirt roads) in the woods. We tried the farthest away campground first in July, then discovered the closer one has multiple private lakes around it. In August we stayed at one of those loops, and while there found the site we booked for this weekend. ON a private lake.
We arrived in the dark on Friday night, took photos Saturday...
On the way in
The site
We woke up to a tree having dumped all it's leaves on us overnight. It was 27 outside overnight, and that's what made the trees blow their loads.
Glamper
Because we setup late, and it was cold, we kept the site simple. Note the complete lack of other people anywhere. We had the ENTIRE (50+ camp sites) campground all to ourselves
Really wish I had an SUV to dirty up the back with crap and bugs with this wood...
From the site
On the water...
No joke, this entire lake is ONLY accessible from 3 camp sites in the campground we stayed in. It's so peaceful and untouched by humanity, it humbled me just sitting in the boat in the middle of the lake, taking it all in.
For scale...can see the Glamper in the middle of the shore in this shot. Tiny.

Thanks dude. I checked that google had all the images shared, but I didn't redo the links. That could be an issue, or it could just be google photos being shitty.

Or you could just say I'm not going to waste 3 hours of my life having tech issues with telling you guys about a nature trip.

Need to update this...after flirting with buying a new glamper, we decided to ours. Painted cabinets, new floor, replacing the counters, new vent with fan, fixing random broken stuff. It's just about done and our first camping trip is scheduled for the beginning of April. So stoked.
