Most in here are somewhat rational when it comes to money... "Retarded" is in the eye of the beholder doe. It is only retarded if you can't afford it IMO.
What some of us find affordable varies doe. Payments matter!
For 50K invested, the guy should be selling a C6Z.
Either that car has been through the ringer, or someone's lying.
I don't even know how you could "invest" $50k into a stock C6Z...
The full retard logic takes the price paid for the car... IE 35k 2 years ago and adds all the things that "pamper" the car... 17k of useless "mods"
Voila "over 50k invested"

How are there even $17k worth of mods on what appears to be a mostly stock car?

Caliper location is common across all models. I could put your brakes on my car as a bolt-on if I wanted.
Check this...
Note the fake bolts along the edge. They match up with what's on the $50k investment.
You are correct sir. I'm immediately out I would never buy a car from a caliper cover bro.
The caliper covers plus the "black out kit" do it for me. I immediately dismiss a car that has the blacked out tail lights. It's a sign that corners were cut because it was deemed necessary to spend money and time making the car more hideous.

So the 17k "investment" didn't tick you off ? I wonder if the car drank only premium and was hand washed using a 9 bucket method.
The whole thing was fucked. Hence my initial post.

Earn it and burn it, Val.

Yes it's a cool car. But prepare the lube/sawdust.
Wonder how much to un-screw it doe? Lets say the plastic covers get chucked, tailz get replaced, fluids look ok and dealer serviced, compression checks out; buying this and driving it for two years could possibly make money.
I think it could, for anyone buying and holding, sure this car sucks but for tastic profiteers who sell their cars every two years iono.
The C7 hasn't come down to reality yet and it is propping up C6 values like crazy. There no reason for a 08-9 almost a decade old C6 to hold near 50% value

I was kind of thinking that i should plac before pricing changes. It might be a good time this spring. Just can't think of a more fun replacement. Maybe nothing for a year.

You bought your car so cheap, you have little risk, imo.
