I think it depends on attitude. Chris loves the CT and is happy to have it, whereas Dan has “more fun cars” but he is somewhat unhappy with all of them. One is a sloppy second previously enjoyed cantaloupe-mobile a penis hole in it, a broken c5 that can’t even be sold because of government DMV issues.

Dan seems more “unhappy” but also “taking it because circumstances” and that’s why I think he’s the car cuck here

I think that it is compelling enough of an argument to warrant a change in my vote. Also, he has a great lifestyle which the miserly CT will allow him to enjoy long term, so it is a good decision IMO.

He was enthused by the possibility of scratching the bucket list itch with a pooper.... but in the end opted for the Estrogen Overlander to appease the slayer of HOAs, she who strikes fear into hoist contractors up and down the Lower Peninsula. But he recently bought a cool ass boat where he routinely CO stars in a live soft porn act on the water.

The point is that we ALL make certain concessions in the name of marital bliss. If you don't, you either have a difficult relationship, or a one. It's the way life is. I consider myself fortunate that the concessions I make are all ones I'm completely OK with because my overall quality of life far surpasses my expectations so far.

But to the point of this thread, the only concession that I make reluctantly is with cars. is terrible about them, and over the years I've lost that core car piece of my identity. Instead of fighting it, I just went along with it and hit rock bottom of enjoying the opposite of an enthusiast vehicle. I don't even have a strong desire for a fun vehicle anymore, the wife won while giving up very little herself. AND I'M OK WITH THAT.
