You're not going to roll in a poverty Civic Sport, "I just got my first real job out of college" special, brah. Lesbirealforasecond.
It was used for comparison purposes for a new "plebe" purchase. 619 a month if you wanted to flip it... after a year.
Right and what's the cost of a 150k mile Prius? Fact is, with cars especially, the purchase is driven by what you want. Especially so when you talk about people with excess disposable income like you and I. Do you want a Civic Sport? If not then don't consider it as you'll just hate it after hardly any time at all and want to

which is way more expensive than just buying what you wanted in the first place.
For a while, when I was looking at cars, I considered a Chevy Cruze turbo. Then one day I realized fuck it I can afford the car I want I might as well just get it. Because I would have hated that Cruze.

This chart would be epic if extrapolated on the C6. I think repairs, fuel and tax are the only real expenses. Having a depreciated reliable car is

statistically speaking.

Only way to be at around ~200 a month is a 150k mile Prius. Unless it pops a motor or battery.
12,000 a year are assumed for each scenario

Yas!
I bought mine for 18.5k +tx and comparable examples after two years of ownership are... 18.5! I did buy a diff for it doe so that evens out the numbers. Epic low cost of ownership doe.
Edit: repairs are on point. Numbers have to go down.

Fully expecting to experience a C4/C5 dip into the teens sooner then later. Just haven't seen it thus far.

The C5s generally sit lower, but this thing is a garage queen.
I like this juan as well, saw a few C6s posted for the teens but it's hard to avoid high mileage or automatics at that price.

Also, comparing ownership costs of slowly depreciating fun cars IS jeep related. We should be in the clear.

The 17k is weird. No expense was spared to make for Tony's Z51 look the way Tony wanted it to look. He spent money on maintenance doe.

If true, this would constitute the most retarded Corvette financial decisions ever posted on this forum. Ponder that.

You mean trading a

to superbee to

to WRX in 12 months doesn't count?
I suppose it was on the "old" forum.

Most in here are somewhat rational when it comes to money... "Retarded" is in the eye of the beholder doe. It is only retarded if you can't afford it IMO.

Back to jeep talk
First window sticker
As you can see the $37,345 base price matches with the released pricing for the 4-door Sahara JLU.
Some optional equipment prices listed:
Leather Trimmed Seats with Sahara Logo - $1,495
Leather-Wrapped Park Brake Handle
Leather-Wrapped Shift Knob
Electronic Infotainment System Group - $1,295
Uconnect 4C NAV with 8.4-inch display
GPS Navigation
Alpine Premium Audio System
Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirror
Roadside Assistance and 911 Call
HD Radio
1-Year Sirius XM Guardian Service
5-Year Sirius XM Traffic Service
5-Year Sirius XM Travel Link Service
8-Speed Automatic Transmission - $2,000
Hill Descent Control
Tip Start
Premium Black Sunrider Soft Top - $595
18-inch x 7.5-inch Tech Gray Polished Face Wheels - $895
Remote Start System (N/A w/Manual Transmission) - $495
Destination Charge - $1,195
Total Price - $45,315
I wonder what the difference is between a "premium top" and a regular top.
Pretty much as expected... My option list may remove the wheels, remote start + leather Which would actually bring it into the low 40s. $42430 to be exact...

wait.. but no LED group... so around $43k for me then...

For 50K invested, the guy should be selling a C6Z.
