OT 20: rotisserie roller coaster

Hoping to sneak out of here a bit early today so we can get a head start on our trip. Spending the first night tonight in Eau Claire, WI.

New phone. Need a new case. Anyone heard of DBrand? Theirs looks nice but I know nothing about them.

Otterbox protected my last phone for 4 years tho. Last week I was riding my bike down a hill, full tuck and about 35 MPH phone flew out of my Jersey pocket and slammed the road. Was totally fine.

Yeah that’s what this last case was. Decent. Saved the phone a few times. Went through three of them they always seem to break down by the charge port.

Should probably just get another.

I used dbrand on my old phone but it was a skin, not a case. Basically a custom cut vinyl wrap. Pretty effective since I'm easy on phones and normally don't even use a case.

Work is forcing both me and sig other... not really "forcing" but just like long hours you have to fit in... if you don't get the cancer jab you can't go into office... and if you can't get into office you're chopped liver.

Anecdotal, but my last buddy who got the shot got knocked on his ass harder than the actual ‘Vid did to me. He called out of work and was just posted up on his couch for almost a week straight feeling like garbage, almost went to an ER a few days to get checked out because it was so bad.

Yea if you had the Vid and then get the moderna shot it absolutely destroys you. My good friends brother was puking his guts out for 2 days... and I think went to the ER also... crazy times.

He never had the Vid, which is why we were both so surprised that he got hit so hard by the vaccine.

I’ve heard that though, which is part of my hesitation in getting jabbed myself. Will probably go Pfizer when I do eventually.
