I spotted a few good cars this week
Is that an RTT on that 911 Dakar?
That 245 festooned with stickers.......
It is factory sir, it looks a little higher than the cucktrek too. That volvo is baugette owned, that va plate is old too probably the first or second owner.
I’ve never seen a 911 Dakar and didn’t figure I ever would, so glad you shared. Honestly though? WOW… that thing kinda sucks, it’s like a Carera and a Cucktrek fucked and made an ugly kid that somehow demands 4X the cost of a regular 911 that is way better.

I hate to admit it … but I love the Dakar, sans roof rack it’s a usable sport car for the every day street. Fuck 23” wheels with rubber band tires
My P car hierarchy is
911 st > gt3> gt3 rs> Dakar > 911 T
The Dakar is for the guy who owns all those other ones.

Earn it and burn it, Val.

Yes it's a cool car. But prepare the lube/sawdust.

Or the guy who just wants to drive that thing 200k
Miles across all weather etc. And actually able to do that … it’s a great all arounder imo

I could see myself using it if I maybe live on the west coast or the rockies or perhaps in north africa that I can through the deserts, but I don't so its a useless car for me nor most people unless maybe they have a 911 fetish. It may devour potholed dc/md roads for sure, it was a young looking asian breh driving.

I think a regular 911 would work just fine as a daily… they’re not crazy low or not usable IMO.
There is no way in hell I'm buying the Dakar over a multitude of other 911s. I'm getting a 911T and the $3,666 BMW, which is ugly enough to park on my lawn.

Isn't a Dakar like GT3 money or more? Yeah, no. T and 3666 is the move for sure.
