$1500 on a 4x4 tahoe

Why anyone would spend 3x as much on something 3x less usable is beyond me.

A newer gen tahoe is still FAR less than 5k.

Dude, that 01 is a DEAL. That's easily a $5k truck out here being original owner, no rust, etc, etc.

Problem is, I tend to use the bed a lot. Which is why I'd probably go Avalanche. But an 04+ that doesn't have that :disgust: cladding.

For $3500 you can throw cow manure back there, not like it'll be worth any less.

Ron gets irked when you don't call him by his real name. Since he will never tell us what that is the chance for irkage is high.

why i want to sell this beauty is because driving all this miles is draining my wallet per week im looking for smaller car i also have a truck and no need of two
I simply can't buy something like that because the prior owners of sub 10k vehicles tend to be missing brain cells.

Yea avalance isn't bad, but anything GM from 1995-2008 will need a new transmission by 150k miles unless it already has one put in, because No one ever services it.

Just reread the post in question. I thought you wrote, "thanks herr goostep", but you were saying to thank herr goostep for the :derp: emoji.

Same thing with Ford and Chrysler/Jeep, too.
The XJ And 6 cyl WJ, ZJ use japanese transmissions. They never fail. Ford pre 1998 fails..

My Crown Vic has 385k on OEM tranny... however I serviced it 10 times :yikes: :yikes:

I'm confident that I could find a truck in good shape that would require minimal work if I decide to go that route.

No idea what route I'll go, doe.

Pendulum swung last night watching GT. I've never had something stupid fast, and want it now. :eeyore: is so close.

And I still really want a damned ZR2.
