Dude, that 01 is a DEAL. That's easily a $5k truck out here being original owner, no rust, etc, etc.

Problem is, I tend to use the bed a lot. Which is why I'd probably go Avalanche. But an 04+ that doesn't have that cladding.

Yea avalance isn't bad, but anything GM from 1995-2008 will need a new transmission by 150k miles unless it already has one put in, because No one ever services it.

The XJ And 6 cyl WJ, ZJ use japanese transmissions. They never fail. Ford pre 1998 fails..

My Crown Vic has 385k on OEM tranny... however I serviced it 10 times
