I was so close to ordering regular golf ones but decided to check ECS one more time for the hell of it.Tarspin wrote:Mats look 5/7. I need more coverage than that but i amof the look.
I will but the monster mats I had for the GTI never holed and I had them for 6 and a half years. The mat was just a bit worn by the clutch.Johnny_P wrote:Keep the receipt for the mats. If they hole through in a year VW will replace them. My GTI ones holed through in 8 months and were replaced. The replacement mats were good doe.

I never noticed so now I have to check. It better not be scuffs.I was so close to ordering regular golf ones but decided to check ECS one more time for the hell of it.Tarspin wrote:Mats look 5/7. I need more coverage than that but i amof the look.
I also thought about weather techs but they're quite a bit more and I don't think I need them going all the way up the side.

I'll get around to buying one eventually but I don't know what other tweaks I'd do aside from the windows and mirror dip. I check those master vcds threads and I have no idea what they're talking about.Tarspin wrote:Gorf thread...
Found a cheap Ross-Tech cable, pickup is set for tomorrow for the price of an OBD11 (about $80 American). It means i need to long code all changes. I have a couple of settings i want to address but mainly want it around for maintenance items like resetting the parking brake positions after pad/rotor changes.
The dude selling it will load software for me and we will test the unit together on my car to make sure it works.
It's too cheap for me to pass up, we have three VAG products between my family and my brother's S5 so i think from a maintenance perspective alone this needs to happen. Diagnostics of one event will pay for the tool and so will adjusting the parking brake servo after a pad change.Gberg2119 wrote:I'll get around to buying one eventually but I don't know what other tweaks I'd do aside from the windows and mirror dip.
