Had a set of NM Engineering lowering springs fitted together with new Bilstein B4 dampers the other week.
Should’ve settled by now but think I’d like it a tad bit lower.
two door GTI , don't see those every day. Roommate?
the outrage debates ... 2 door= sports car 4 door = van. Even though they weigh same... have no space constraints etc. 2 door makes 0 sense

French guy from work.
Has APR DP and Unitronic engine & DSG tuna.
We went to Blowing Rock for some last week and that thing pulls.
In fact, I saw a C5 in Boone similar to yours. That wasn’t you, was it?

Looks pretty good. I would say any lowered looks MoDDED for looks and not performance
Meh, I’ll gladly trade 0.2s per lap on the imaginary racetrack between work and Harris Teeter to get rid of the worst wheel gap.
GTI is on springs too by the way and I like the look, but I think that’s a bit too low for stock dampers.

I can see the GTI being lowered. Personally I think it is too low. When wheels "tuck" it looks "broken" to me, I don't find it aesthetically pleasing. But I know this is where people have different opinions.

IMO the mini 'stance' as you have it is perfect.
One inch gap is ideal, any more lower is imo. Just don't fucking send it on dips and you're golden.
Does he have a pop pop exhaust ? Also R vs F gen...
Also I found that that 2020+ Mini's don't pop no mo. Because of new EcU tuning.
R gen?
First gen S is R53 and I have an R56.
Mine pops loudly in sport mode but nowhere close to an F5x with a JCW exhaust though.
Source on the new tuning not making pops?
I was referring to your car, yep R gen.
It's on north american motoring. All the 2020 dudes complaining about the lack of pops, plus the JCW exhaust is no longer listed as "fit" to the 20s... 8 speed + lack of pops .. I could barely tell any diff between the 8 vs 6, they are both good trannys.

You may want to be more specific as anything predating the current Minis are all “Rxx”.
Odd regarding the JCW exhaust on the 2020+.
The LCI with the 7DCT/8AT etc was introduced for 2019, so not sure what’s different on the 2020s.

Fair point on the gen. R does sound a bit confusing
Yes guys. That color stands out big-time. I managed to see if all the way in their back lot, even over the other bright colored cars they have up front
