Here's that dish we made last night. Super tasty. Only thing I would do different in the future is use more veggies (we used less than the recipe called for) and I'd probably use a chicken or turkey sausage so it's not as greasy/fatty.
Fun fact, the woman who's blog this is (I have her book too) is the wife of a guy from the Deadzone. That's how I initially found her. I've loved every dish of hers that I've made.

I wish to use my Star Alliance Gold benefits and points but future nearby airports are AA and DL hubs so I might have to switch anyway but still.
Honestly they ALL suck but United is generally the worst of the big three in terms of on time and their equipment. Their seats feel like bus benches to me.

CLT is one of AAs two main hubs and can get you nearly anywhere non-stop. RDU is still secondary for DL so you're going to Atlanta or Detroit from there to get most other places.
LH flies to FRA from CLT so that’s still an option if I need to go home.
I don’t think AA flies CLT>Europe but I know BA does to LHR.
Now when I arrive next month I’m actually flying in to IAD and will rent a car from there, so perhaps that’s also an alternative as connections in the US are usually

How does a wedding cost 41k though? I’m going to have less than 50 people. Like 5 people from my side/ and family.

Ours was about that. 200 people, killer food, and open bar for four hours.
I'm going to one in May that based on size and location will easily be over 100k.
We have a hard time coming up with 50 people we’d want at our wedding, 200 would never happen.
