Here's a moment that made my day. Daughter put the first bite of her dinner, homemade meatballs a la cball, and her eyes lit up and she declared "wow!"
My mom had a big reunion thing for her 60th birthday this weekend and we had pizza. I was recruited to drive to the places and pick it up (had to get it from two places because high maintenance people).wap wrote:Oh, and we didn't get shitty chain pizza. We got it from a good local joint. 5/7 lunch.
I got three 'zas from Mellow Mushroom at a rather extraordinarily pricey $80 and then went on to Pizza Hut, where I got four pizzas for $36. The Pizza Hut pizza was definitely better. Both are chains though, but I like Pizza Hut and shit. Not saying they're the best pizzas in the world, but many local spots I've had aren't as good. Different strokes though, pizza preferences are very subjective.
