Me: first of all, are you drunk? I don’t think you wanna do that. As cool as that would be and you would be wife #1 of DFD, it’s not exactly built to commute 26 highway miles every morning.

Wife: not drunk, I like driving it. I feel I’ve come a long way on stick. Why are you talking me out of it?

Me: what if I got you an S2K?

Wife: too flashy, you just want me to get that so you can have your car cake and eat it too.

Me: what about a new Miata?

Wife: maybe. Let’s test drive some.

All of this spawns over her not wanting me to get a motorcycle.

If this goes according to plan, the Howard’s will have a new Miata club, new Lotus Emira, and a 2000 TJ wrangler come this time next year.

Damn these are some wild moves. I think the village bicycle would be great to keep around. Potential shifter mod, an upgrade to a wireless carplay screen etc. Upgrading that car is like 1/10th the price of a new Miata.

I have, it just doesn’t inspire me. If I’m gonna spend 6 figs, I need it to be special and exciting. I think I’d rather have the M3 or melon spec BlakWang. Although I don’t like the white interior in the BW.

I hate that damn road. Every time I’m on it I have 3-4 episodes of this.
