Was supposed to be in SD next week for work, but all travel is cancelled for now. The trip was booked back in Jan, and we grabbed a ticket for Michelle to come down with me so she could stay at her parents’ place to have some help with Kaeilani for the week plus just get some family time in. She decided to still go down even after my trip was cancelled. I’ll miss my girls, but goddamn a week of being alone is going to be fucking nice.
Got some house and car shit I want to knock out. I’ll get to go to the gym at normal hours, be able to cook and eat all my meals on time each day, and I’ll have actual free time to read, play video games, and actually relax a bit. Going to take Thursday and Friday off of work to enhance the experience.

Thought about extending that into Wednesday or even burning the whole week, but I’ve got a couple bigger actions at work I want to keep moving. I could see that if it was happening on a somewhat regular basis at all. This will be my first true alone time since
came in August. And I’ve got some projects to keep my busy, so that should keep me from getting bored at all.
Being a man and raising a family isn't cucking. It's a chore, sure. But everything in life worth a damn is hard work.
Y'all enjoy your time off. I wish I could spend more than 4 hours a day with my kids. The weekends are my only time to make it up.
