Still the same whip. I've been broke for a few years so no upgrades for me.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 7:50 pmwhat are you driving now?datgrundle wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 7:02 pm
Working from home finally doing IT for Comcast. The job is pretty easy and I've been taking miniature painting commissions. Its been a really tough few years and I almost didn't make it. Glad to have some stability now.

Its probably gods work. You can't show your bavarian superiority to conomers by using a turn signal

Anyone had a good holidays?
So far my uncle, aunt and my 6 year old cousin came as they just renewed their visas for the next 10 years. Came for 12 days, went to my cousins for xmas, explored all over DC metro, and more. I had 5 days off and we planned on couple days trips and instead of driving 2 cars, I got a VW Atlas from turo coggles spec. Good car, I don't need it, steering felt softer than I was expecting, but decent on the highway. No regrets. Very spacious. Went to Rehoboth Beach by the way of Ocean city, bethany, spend the night at my cousins at their summer house in reho. Had new years dinner/get together at parents house. Also baby sat one of my friends dog before I obtained the rental. Next time around for the same reason renting a car, tahoe it is.

Happy to hear things are looking up for you man! Any cool paintings you’d be open to sharing?datgrundle wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 7:02 pmWorking from home finally doing IT for Comcast. What’s on the vehicular menu these days?
Some major changes for me, had a baby girl on 12/8. Being a dad is so far the best and the worst thing I’ve ever done. I want the baby phase to end but I’ll miss some moments of cuddling and the looks she gives me.
Also got a new job in December at Netgear, selling the audiovisual by line of network products B2B in the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast. So far it’s been pretty decent.

Started as a small fire during the worst possible time. (Santa Anna wind event ) I was watching the events unfold live. And the fire chiefs said they have enough resources until shit went completely out of control.
We have an insane amount of resources for wildfire management in Cali… and they had at least a week to prepare (station equipment etc) this was a known event waaaaaay ahead of time. Yet here we are in complete and utter failure.
Just pathetic
