Red ain't bad either. I wonder if Breh's black pearl has red too?Johnny_P wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 8:00 amRemember the good days of orange backlit BMW interiors? I remember.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2024 3:58 pm I was just thinking about that the other day. My eye sight hasn't changed and I kind of stopped driving at night because frankly I don't have a life after the kid and there is no sidepiece.
So the one time I was out after dark, it was pretty damn brutal. 30" of screens in my car + HUD ... + porno lighting in every crevice of the vehicle.. it's tough... especially once a raised F250 gets pointed straight in your face.

I have no idea I've never driven it at night.

Nah. Insurance is expensive on it and that kills some of the low ownership cost aspect. Also if you buy new you don’t get maintenance included that you would from some other makes.
Additionally there are trade offs. Build quality is pretty poor and material choices aren’t great. It’s not perfect but it’s working for me right now.
Drove the CRV last night. Man that thing is a couch. So nice and smooth. I mean I like the accord don’t get me wrong. But I’d 100% go CUV if I did it over.

The Toyota “free” maintenance is “worth “ $200 tops. New cars don’t need shit.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 11:03 amNah. I’d think a base Prius is pretty much one of the lowest costs to operate vehicles out there new. Ans possibly a Corolla hybrid. But that's seppuku.

Had a pretty gnarly new rattle / buzz pop up.
Tracking it down I couldn't find the panel that was buzzing but it sounded like up near the windshield. So I popped the hood just in case and found a ton of helicopter seeds from our tree all up in the cowl. Took those bitches out, no more buzz. That's the second time I've had to pop the hood to clear leaves in the 2? months that I've owned it. Kind of annoying. The CRV will pile the shut up until it starts to decompose and you just pull out handfuls of dirt... but it doesn't buzz lol.
Now that its a bit colder, MPGs are a bit down from the 55 I've been averaging but still around 45-50.

That is odd. My BMW got a ton of leaves in the front when I went to Tail of the Dragon in the autumn. Near impossible to get out but they just went away on their own over time. Never had a peep from it though.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 10:41 pm Had a pretty gnarly new rattle / buzz pop up.

Recently, the Wrangler started making a heinous noise intermittently from the HVAC fan. It took me a week to remand that I changed the cabin air filter not long before. Turns out a loan leaf was I guess sitting atop the old filter and fell down into the fan turbine. It was a bitch to get it out as my hands don’t really fit in there, even with long skinny fingers. Due enough, removing the leaf fixed it. Kind of funny that one small dead leaf could make an 85 db horrendous noise.
The m4 horizontal oil cooler was JAM packed with dirt/cig butts/leaves. Everything broke down and clogged it up. You have to practically remove the front bumper to actually clean the stuff out. I havent really looked at the wife f31, but id imagine a similar issue.D Griff wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2024 5:11 amThat is odd. Maybe it's the AWD/larger ass, but my F30 got like 28/34. I also drive like a little bitch on the highway.dubshow wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2024 9:23 amthats really good mpgz. everything i own sucks ass in fuel terms.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 10:41 pm Had a pretty gnarly new rattle / buzz pop up.
