So I agree with Melon's 'hand being delt analogy'. The absurd inflation piece that boomers benefit from has to do with irresponsible government.

Also really like the 'Don't hate the players, hate the game' comment above.

One thing I miss, is when weed was weed. Fuck all these new fangled semi legal gummies and what not, I want to rip a bong or pass around a spliff if I’m going to bother.

I mostly buy pre-rolled joints, but bought just an eighth of flower last time and toon a few bong rips on 4/20

Definitely prefer smoking out of a pipe/bowl/bong to taking gummies or even smoking pre-rolls. Gummies take too long to kick in, and I often have to kick start the high with smoking anyways, so might as well just do that from the get-go.

Oh you’re missing out on the gummies. As a health nut, you should be on this healthier way to intake the herb

I mean I have weed like twice a year, maybe? So I’m not really concerned with smoking at that point. Have had gummies at least a couple dozen times, just not a huge fan.

Sadly I like alcohol a lot more. Wish I didn’t as alcohol is way worse.

people forget the boomers had to deal with a sometimes 10%+ fed funds rate which effectively meant 15%-25% interest rate for access to credit right as they were coming to age in the 70's trying to get their life going in their early 20's. Not to mention that rate was so high because inflation was going wild, again, due to turrible gov policies?

Did that help with their generational success (according to @max225) since many didn't bury themselves in debt due to it being so expensive and encouraged saving early?

There is a lot more to this than bLaMe ThE bOoMeRs. Blame the stupid fucking medling politicians.

Makes sense.

We happen to be in the era where the deck of cards is collapsing. And you know it's bad, because it's exponentially harder for kids younger then us. Every five years the end goal is moved significantly further.

Look at how much spending western societies are doing? Are they receiving trust fund kickbacks? I believe so.

Who gives a fuck about the rate they paid. If an average house was $150k adjusted for inflation today I'd pay 30% rate without a god damn problem. They are 4x that now.... in some areas 10x.

They also paid jack shit for healthcare and education two MORE things that the current generation is getting obliterated by.

:lolol: but cruicialy not 4x or 10x as you stated 2 posts above. I'm not saying its good, but its not as extreme as you imply.

It depends on area too… some areas went through extreme price appreciation while others are down. Ex Ohio is likely in line with historicals or down .
